Green Dress-Refashion

So, I've been lame, very lame. I'm so sorry I havn't posted anything in a while. I promise that it's not because I havn't been working, I just havn't had time to take picts of what I've been working on. I'm trying to make an effort to take better picts of the things I make. Feel free to send me tips!

Anyway, here is something I have been working on.

This dress (which looked really strange with my large behind) became

 As you can see, I cut off the ribbing from the bottom. because it is a knitt I didnt' even need to hem it.

I added the ribbing to the collar because it was way too low to wear without a layerd shirt (which would have looked ok, but sometimes I want something cute I can just throw on).

Then I took the extra ribbing and am in the process of making some cute flowers to go around the neck line. When I sewed on the collar extension, I didn't anticipate as much stretch so I didn't make very even stitiches... so I'm hiding it with flowers : )
