My husband has the Korean Times (the English newspaper in Korea) delivered to our door every morning. (As a side note, if you our your significant other like reading the paper, it's only 20,000W a month!)
The first week or so was great! The paper would get delivered outside of our door, and we would pick it up on our way to work. Then, our paper started disappearing some mornings. We weren't sure if someone was intentionally taking it, or if the cleaning lady thought it was trash.
Whatever the case, we needed a solution, and fast!
I came up with this wonderful newspaper holder! I had the fabric on hand from another project, but you could use an old T-shirt, or any other kind of fabric you have laying around. I cut it into a long strip, folded it over so the newspaper was just visible over the top, and sewed the sides. Cut a hole in the top big enough to fit over your door handle, and your set!
I did decide to stitch 신문 (which means "newspaper") on to the front, just in case the delivery man didn't understand the concept.
Now, we have regular paper delivery!
