Yes, today is my birthday. What am I doing for my special day, you may ask!
Why, I will tell you. I am sitting at work writing blog posts!
Oh, happy day...
Now, if you live in Korea, or are Korean, you are probably familiar with Children's Day. A day dedicated to children (duh). BUT it also means that students and teachers get the day off of work. WOOHOO!
So while I am sitting here bemoaning the fact that I have to work on my birthday (not really, but I may as well be dramatic) I thought I would share with you what I did on my Children's Day.
First, I drank coffee... sweet nectar of mortals.
Then I cleaned my house (not pictured because it was too shameful).
While I cleaned, I made this... beautiful... I know.
But it's totally useful to hang things from near my sewing area! I always have scraps of paper, fabric, ideas, etc that I want within my sight, but I don't have anywhere to put them. Enter strange string art thing.
Then I ate some chocolate chips.
Did the laundry.
I chose this picture because I didn't think you wanted to see all of our underwear.
And made smell-be-gone pouches for my shoes.
My school shoes stink because I sometimes wear them without socks so I made these cute little squares and filled them with baking soda. At the end of the day, i'll slip them into my shoes and viola! The smell will be gone!... I hope.
Not pictured
-Slept in till 9
-I made half of a pachwork rug (as in the top, but not the bottom)
-Watched 3 episodes of Big Bang Theory
-Watched 2 episodes of Bleach
-Messed with my blog design again (seriously, I need an electric shock collar or something)
-Talked to John
-Went to see Thor
-Went shopping for cookies
All in all, it was a great children's day. : )
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting : )
