Home Made Luffa

A couple of weeks ago I was given a substantial amount of pink tulle. Now, I love tulle, but I'm not sure I'm a fan of having a hot pink ruffle popping out from under my skirt. I decided to attempt to make a luffa instead. I really wanted one and figured I would try making one before I bought one. Here is what I did.

change the next time I make one...
1. I wrapped the tulle circularly around the conta

A couple of things I would different. Bad idea. It meant that some of the loops didn't get tied in properly and now they're coming undone.
2. My pieces of tulle were in fairly short chunks. Next time I will sew them together first to make one long strand of tulle.
