A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Delicate Flowers and Flower Earring Tutorial

Monday was a holiday in Korea, so we had the day off. That meant that we got to hang out with friends. Yay!!! One of the awesomest people I know makes these flowers and I have been DYING to make some. This last weekend I finally got my chance : )

The two below are mine. They are super easy to make, and I've seen tutorials on how to make them before. Just cut out some circles from chiffon type fabric and melt the edges with a candle or lighter. That gives them the ruffly look. Then sew or glue them together and add some beats. Easy peasy!

While we were crafting, my friend came up with the idea to make flower earrings. We didn't have any studs on hand, so here is a SUPER EASY way to make flowers using existing earrings.

Flower Earring Mini-Tutorial.

You need: Very small pieces of melted fabric circles (be careful. Not all fabrics melt!), earring stud. I suggest using crystal or pearl.

Start with your biggest circle.

Layer all of the circles from biggest to smallest using colors that you like.

Take the backing off your earring and push the earring through all your layers of fabric.

Put the earrings into your ears. Put the backing on.

Finished!

Don't worry about gluing/sewing the pieces together. They will stay in place between the stud and your ear just fine. I even slept in mine on accident and they were perfect the next morning!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting : )
