This week is the last week of the school year here. That means for four days this week I am sitting at my desk doing nothing. Bla.
BUT, it's the perfect time to get some inspiration for new ideas. Yesterday as I was getting ready and going to school I had TONS of great ideas rolling around in my head. I couldn't wait to get to school and write them all down! When I got to school, I was so sad to find out that I LEFT MY SKETCHBOOK AT HOME!!!
I almost cried.
Then I had inspiration!
All year my students have been making little "books" to review their lessons. It was the perfect solution to my situation : )

| (Sorry, I can't figure out how to turn this picture!) |
(1) Find a piece of A4 or letter size paper
(2) Fold it in half the long way (hot dog fold)
(3) Fold the paper into 8ths (you can see my creases from pict 2)
(4) Unfold the paper, fold it the short way (hamburger fold) and cut from the folded edge halfway through the paper.
(5) Unfold the bottom rectangles (the ones you didn't cut through) and push them together. It's hard to explain in text, so make it look like the picture : )
(6) Fold all the pages over to one side.
TADA! You have a book! You can glue the pages down if you want to, but I like to keep them open so I can use both sides of the paper. When I fill up one side, I just invert the folds and have a whole new book!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hahahaha - love this! I love the way Koreans make their little books. It took me 6 months of living here to figure out how to make them.
