A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Fabric Covered Tin Can

Hahaha! I started this post in December and it took me 2 months to finish it!
Nothin' fancy, just some pics of a large tomato paste can that I fixed up a little.

Perfect for putting snacks in : )

I actually like the look of tin cans, but I have a hard time using them for things because of the sharp edge where the lid gets cut off. Well, now I think I've fixed my problem : ) All I did was hot glue a strip of fabric around the inside and outside of the can. TADA! No worries about cutting my hand : )

  1. This is a great idea! I've actually had little hands get cut on the sharp edges before so I may need to try this. Thanks for sharing!

  3. This is a great idea. Love using tin cans for storage, too. My husband used to take the needle nose pliers and work all the sharp edges down...this would be much easier. And prettier, too!! Would be delighted for you to link up to Mop It Up Mondays: http://www.ishouldbemoppingthefloor.com/2012/02/mop-it-up-mondays-party-2.html

  4. they also make can openers that lift the lid off instead of cutting and leave no sharp corners :)
