If you've been around pinterest for any length of time, you might have seen this:
via pinterest
The first time I read it I laughed and moved on. The second time, I pinned it. I feel like this nearly perfectly describes my life. (And I don't even have kids!)
Only, I think they forgot to add one thing: Have a hobby.
Usually my day looks something like this
Wake up
Make coffee
Wake up my husband
Drink the coffee
Get ready for work
Work
Come home
After work, I basically have 3 options
1. Cook dinner
2. spend time with my hubby
3. Craft
Now, I'm pretty sure that any mom who reads this would laugh at me and say I've got it easy. (Just don't forget, I live in a foreign country and work full time. Give me some credit)
Well, since delivery in Korea is pretty awesome (and the food is healthier and cheaper than the US), sometimes we order in. If we don't order or go out, I make dinner.
If I make dinner, I don't craft.
So, here is the point I am trying to make: I have been devoting more of my time lately to cooking and cleaning lately than crafting. For me, it's been a really good thing. I actually feel like I have my house semi-organize after a year. We are finally stocked up on some of our "western" tastes like beef, cheese, tortillas, and salsa (We actually ate quesodillas last night!!!)
I feel really good about being able to provide some comfort foods for my husband and myself.
Do you want to know another great thing about focusing on my house instead of crafting? I have washed the dishes every single night.
!!!
I hate washing dishes. Usually I let them pile up until it's wash-them-or-die.
But not this week. Yay!!!!
Ok, now I will stop rambling. So sorry. I did finally download some pictures, so I will post them soon! And I've got a couple of things in the works!
Thanks for stopping by!!
