A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Natural Conditioner

I think I did it. I think I found something that I like to condition my hair. Are you ready?

Yogurt.

I mixed 1 egg, 1 container plain Denmark yogurt (non-sweetened), and about a tablespoon of oil. I whipped the egg until it was "frothy" then added the yogurt and oil. (I actually made my concoction the night before and kept it in the refridgerator).

In the morning, I wet my hair down with really warm water. Then I used my hands to coat my hair in the yogurt mixture. It smelled way better than the mayo, by the way. I wrapped my head in a towel and let it set for about 30 minutes. Then I washed my hair like normal!

I noticed that they mixture rinsed out of my hair without the baking soda just fine. I could tell because the water was slightly yellow! I could probably use this mixture on a day that I wasn't going to wash my hair, just as a conditioning rinse.

When I got out of the shower I could run a comb through my hair very easily and my hair stayed nice and silky as it was drying! The humidity has been sick here for the past couple of days, and so I am not able to take accurate pictures of what the yogurt did to my hair. I will say, however, that even though it is really humid (and my hair is insanely frizzing) I can still run a comb and my fingers through my hair! I was not able to do that with just the baking soda/vinegar or the mayonnaise.

This was one site I went to, but googling "yogurt mask for hair" will give you many options.
